The Means and Mechanics of Effective Contact NetworkingRegion: Philadelphia Date: Wednesday, April 2nd at 6:00 PM Attendees: 2 Please sign in to RSVP.
All job campaigns involve networking, but did you know there are different kinds of networking? Often people consider networking as "Rolodex building", the so-called "grip and grin" approach at a function or event. And there's "structured networking", in which individuals gather to in a meeting to present their pitches and give and receive specific contacts and ideas.
On April 2, we'll discuss "CONTACT NETWORKING". Contact networking is the art of getting and perfecting face-to-face, one-on-one meetings with people who can specifically advise and direct you.
You'll learn…
o How to structure a contact list
o How to arrange an "enthusiastic referral"
o How to find out "what's going on"
o How to determine where you fit in
o How to parlay a meeting into more contact networking
