In this interactive session, special guest speaker Davina Askin '91 will share onboarding strategies and techniques to assist new employees in transitioning into a new job.  Our focus will be on setting the foundation to get up-to-speed and add value quickly.

ABOUT OUR GUEST SPEAKER:  Davina Askin '91
Davina Askin is an innovative and strategic human resources professional with fourteen years of consulting and in-house experience partnering with senior line management.  She has expertise in change management, organizational design/development, diversity/inclusion, compensation, communication planning/execution, assessment, training design/delivery, and board-level search. 

Currently, Ms. Askin is Director, Talent Management and Development at Charles Schwab & Co., Inc., where she is focused on employee retention, succession planning, and change management.  Her recent roles addressed workforce diversity - at Lehman Brothers, where she was Vice President, Global Workforce Diversity and at Deutsche Bank, where she was on its Global Diversity Team as Vice President, Head of Women's Initiatives-Americas.  In these capacities, her responsibilities included crafting strategies and implementing initiatives to improve attraction, development, retention, and promotion of diverse talent.

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Ms. Askin was at PricewaterhouseCoopers, where she was the Manager of Strategic Compensation for its US staff.  Previously, she worked in consulting - in change management at Andersen Consulting, in compensation at Towers Perrin, and in board-level search at Catalyst.

Ms. Askin holds an M.A. in organizational psychology from Columbia University's Teachers College, as well as an A.B. in sociology, with a certificate in women's studies, from Princeton University.  She is a former Chair of the Princeton Women's Network of New York City.
